Surf Expo Fall 2024 continues to grow

Surf Expo, the world’s premier watersports and beach lifestyle tradeshow, is returning with increased international participation to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. From September 5-7, 2024, more than 650 exhibitors representing over 750 brands will gather to display the latest in watersports, beach, resort, swim, outdoor, and coastal life products across an expansive show floor.

Orange County Convention Center to build $1.48M tasting room

The Orange County Convention Center has plans to build out a new tasting room. Orange County Commissioners on Aug. 27 will consider a $1.48 million bid by Poli Construction Inc. to build out a 3,000-square-foot space in the west building.

InterContinental hotel is coming to Orlando

Hyatt Hotels Corporation declared the finalized sale of the 1,641-room Hyatt Regency Orlando and an adjoining 45-acre tract to entities linked with RIDA Development Corporation and a real estate fund managed by Ares Management (“Ares”). The transaction, valued at roughly $1.07 billion, also sees Hyatt maintain a long-term management role under its Hyatt Regency brand.
